The Trinity frame is made of a very strong double voided extrusion. The extra bars between which are placed on the lower part of the frame right between the wheels strengthen the overall construction of the frame. The power triangle formed by the three mounting points and the low frame construction magnify the benefits.
Aluminium alloys are alloys in which aluminium (Al) is the predominant metal. The typical alloying elements are copper, magnesium, manganese, silicon and zinc. The 6061 aircraft aluminium we use for the Trinity frame contains more magnesium and silizium which gives the material more elasticity which is easy to work with. It has less tensile strength than 7000 series aluminium; important for the strength and rigidity of the frames. The frame is also T6 heat treated.
Besides the rigid construction the Trinity frame also stands out from the masses by its puristic design as a result of laser prints on the frame and heads of the axles. The Trinity frame is the smaller brother of the Trinity “Pro” frame. The only difference between the two styles is the extra CNC milling after the anodising process, which gives the “Pro” model a more high end look compared to the Trinity model.
The combination of the across slot in the frame and the along slot in our boots is called the X-Slot Mounting. This system enables the skater to adjust the boot-frame setup without any dead spots according to his skating style and preferences.
