| HOLLOW TUBE SHELL The carbon/fiberglass shell of the Phuzion 9 shoe features our Hollow Tube Technology. The fundamental value of hollow constructions is weight reduction. Hollow tubes positioned between the two mounting blocks of the shell are embedded in a carbonfiber matrix. The structured surface of the bottom adds extra strength to the overall shell construction and enables us to reduce the layup of the carbonfiber matrix. The result is a lighter shell construction. The outer layer of the shell is made by design fiberglass which gives the skate an extraordinary and unique look. The shell is heat mouldable due to a special epoxy that is used in our shell construction. Means the skater can adjust the fit of his skates by heat moulding. SHMR is also known as Super Heat Mouldable Resin enables us to heatmould the boot at any spot of the shoe as many times as needed. |
X-SHELL CUFF The X-Shell cuff was designed with support in mind. It is made out of a special composite compound that is super stiff thanks to the 25% fiberglass, which was mixed into the material. The buckle is a clean and stylish fast lock buckle. |
PADDING This skate comes with a unique 3 layer padding, harder foam on the outside, softer foam on the inside and an additional L-shape latex foam in the ankle area for a perfect ankle and heel lock to increase support during every stride. Under the lining we added soft sponge foam for extra comfort and support. The padding of the tongue is 3D shaped, following the shape of the foot. |
UPPER & LACING This upper features a big hole air mesh material covered by PU nano leather adding strength to the construction of the upper. The toe area is protected with special abrasion resistant PU-microfiber material. |
FRAME The Powerslide Vision frame is a lightweight, but rigid single voided frame made of 6061 aircraft aluminium. The frame is also very stiff due to its complex CNC machinering. The range of Vision frames covers various wheel setups from 84mm up to 110mm wheel size. Single axles with T25 torx head and nice lazer graphics are standard for this entry price range frame as well. All frames of the Powerslide collection have some CNC cuts around the front and rear mounting block to fit our Pitch & Stride Control. The combination of the axross slot in the frame and the along slot in our boots is called the X-Slot Mounting. This system enables the skater to adjust the boot-frame setup without any dead spot according to his skating style and preferences. |
WHEELS & BEARINGS Powerslide Infinity wheels are Super High Rebound (SHR) wheels that give the kids all they need - fast roll, good grip, long lifetime. The traditional 5 spoke hub is a light weight construction. The size of the hub is matched with the size of wheel needed. |
BRAKE The height adjustable brake system (HABS) offers a lot of advantages over the traditional heel brake. The braking surface has a bigger contact area, for a faster and more controlled braking action. The height adjustment function is perfect to find the preferred personal braking position, lower or higher, with straight legs for more braking power or angled legs. Also once worn down the brake pad can be lowered to keep the best braking point for more safety and security. The HABS is for sure the best and most effective heel brake system on the market. Easy to mount to the frame and replace, made out of the best possible materials. Available in different colours for replacement. |
